Hi all,

in the last 3 days skynetbbs and I had a lot of fun with creating the status sticker on http://www.fonera.be/status.php
skynetbbs developed it all, I just made the sticker's graphic layout.
Here an explaination:

On the website you get the status sticker for your FON:router which you can insert on your webpage or into your postings over the web.
An installation guide is availabe - just fill in your unique code into the form to get the required sticker HTML lines or BBCode to include on your website or as signature or avatar in your favorite boards.
Each 5 minutes your fonera will contact a server telling it's online and giving some details like how many people are connected to your public/private wireless network and how much traffic has been spend since your foneras last reboot. Even the uptime/downtime of your fonera will be mentioned.
On an availbale statistics you can compare your Fonera with other Foneras in the entire statistics menu.

Now my proposal together with skynetbbs:

How about to include this status sticker into our freewlan addons (opt-on)
and replace the not often used fonfan.sh status with this new one?

QRM 0.95: No webif/SSH access on WAN interface

Hi, my setup is as follows

modem --wire-- Buffallo Router --qrm-- Fonera2100F

I've installed 0.95. However, I'm now unable to access the webif and SSH from a PC (192.168.10.100) connected to the Buffalo. It used to work in 0.94, and I've reentered all settings from scratch. EEven tried flashing original FON firmware and reinstalling freewlan. The latest SVN 486 is on the router as well.

The Buffalo uses the 192.168.10.x range and the Fonera is connected as 192.168.10.201 static IP through QRM (WPA2-AES).

The Fonera's private SSID is using the 192.168.11.x range and uses WPA-TKIP. If it matters, I see a "unable to register ath0" message when I do a dmesg when connected through the private SSID.

Any ideas?

Hi Leute,

nachdem ich die Addons deinstalliert und dann online neu installiert habe funktioniert es jetzt. DHCP allerdings immer noch nicht aber sonst lag es wohl an der Offlineinstallation bei der irgend etwas schief gelaufen ist.

I noticed "ntpclient" is suddenly gone. Now the Fonera is in 2000 and it's grey on maps.fon.com

Hi!

Ich habe eine meiner Foneras seit Monaten im QRM rennen. Bis auf gelegentliche Verbindungsabbr�che kann ich mich nicht beklagen.

Es liegt einer schlechten Verbindung bzw. einer zu geringen Reichweite.

Der automatische Recconnect klappt zwar meistens, aber eben nicht immer...

You're doing something wrong. It works fine in any browser. Are you using the correct IP address?

I envy you. The HTC TouchPro is probably the best PPC in the market right now.

Keep the bandwidth reduced to 512/192 kbps or less and they will not stay in your hotspot for long. They will also not have a proper port forwarding for their software.

Ich habe seit geraumer Zeit eine elektronische Schaltuhr aus dem Baumarkt f�r ca. 5,- EUR vor die Fonera und das DSL- Modem gesteckt und trenne Nachts gegen 3:00 f�r eine Minute. In den Addons habe ich die Mailbenachrichtigung aktiviert und bin so immer auf dem Laufenden.
Seither habe ich keine H�nger.

suddenly fon decides to only resell the Fonera+
to add the fgf action for the fonera+

and 2 months prior to that the source of ApFlash got released and the Fonera+ is added.

It's now a single click on an executable and a few minutes later you have ssh access on a Fonera+

Kein FreeWLAN-Addons-Hotfix mehr?

Hi, the same goes with me. I have applied the above changes.
Fon's mac address has changed, the connection to internet has been activated but it is not good (I am not able to use fring at all) and is full of interruptions, the information on the status page is partially missing.
I am not a techie and if there is a log of the errors I am ready to send it to you.
